Primary Function: Provide individualized highly strategic investment consulting to members of ICCU. Develop ongoing financial planning with member focus to help accomplish their goals. Partner with a skilled team on credit and other financial services to offer a full array of solutions to the members and prospects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional member service in accordance with ICCU and Idaho Central Wealth Management standards.
- Engage with members both in person and virtually nurturing new client relationships and managing existing ones.
- Provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to members.
- Service existing clients and perform periodic reviews of their financial plans and investments.
- Document the appropriateness of investment recommendations and evaluate risk tolerance.
- Stay informed about regulations impacting Financial Planning Securities and Insurance products.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records as required by federal state broker/dealer and ICWM standards.
- Refer members to Credit Union for their deposit and loan needs.
- Always comply with FINRA Rules of Fair Practice.
- Be available for travel as needed.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for client investment strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative financial solutions for clients.
- Participate in continuing education programs to maintain professional certifications and licenses.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to promote financial planning services.
- Mentor junior advisors and provide guidance on complex financial planning issues.
- Develop and implement advanced investment strategies for clients with more complex financial needs.
- Manage or establish a book of business of at least $25 million with recurring commensurate revenue.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in relevant field required. 3-6 years experience required as a financial or investment advisor. FINRA Series 7 plus 63 & 65 or 66 securities licensing required. State of Arizona - Life Health and Disability Insurance licenses are also required. Experience in a financial institution environment preferred. Must maintain a high standard of work ethic and relationships with members and team members. Highly self-motivated creative goal-oriented and results-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit. Can deliver a unique member experience. Master at building relationships with members. Must comply with FINRA and SEC guidelines and regulations. Professional in appearance attendance quality and quantity of work performed. Ability to work under pressure and through conflicting situations. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.

- Repetitive motion using wrists hands and fingers.
- Reach keyboards.
- Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator computer telephone copy machine fax machine etc.).
