Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Datacenter & Virtualization Engineer with 10 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise datacenter infrastructure and VMware ESXi environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining large-scale virtualization and datacenter solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage VMware ESXi vCenter clusters HA and DRS environments
- Lead datacenter infrastructure operations including compute storage and virtualization
- Perform capacity planning performance tuning and infrastructure optimization
- Manage host upgrades patching lifecycle management and hardware refresh
- Configure and manage enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) integration
- Oversee backup disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Handle complex troubleshooting across virtualization storage and server hardware
- Ensure security hardening and compliance within the virtual infrastructure
- Work closely with network security and application teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
Mandatory Skills:
- 10 years of experience in Datacenter Operations & Virtualization
- Strong hands-on expertise in VMware ESXi & vCenter (enterprise scale)
- Experience with HA DRS vMotion SRM
- Experience with enterprise storage technologies (EMC NetApp Pure etc.)
- Strong understanding of server hardware (Dell HPE Cisco UCS)
- Experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Knowledge of backup tools (Veeam Commvault etc.)
