Job Summary
A highly academic and high-achieving secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a talented and ambitious Second in Charge of Art to join its successful department as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Art Teacher looking to take the next step in leadership within a school known for strong outcomes and high expectations.

The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Supporting the Head of Art in leading and developing the department
Assisting with curriculum planning assessment and moderation
Driving high standards in coursework sketchbook development and final outcomes
Supporting departmental displays exhibitions and enrichment opportunities
Contributing to whole-school initiatives and academic improvement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Art Fine Art or a related subject
Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level
A strong track record of excellent classroom practice and pupil progress
Experience supporting departmental initiatives or readiness to step into leadership
High expectations for pupil engagement creativity and achievement
