The Art Technician will support the delivery of practical art lessons and maintain department resources.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing materials for lessons
Maintaining equipment and stock levels
Supporting students during practical sessions
Managing kiln operations safely
Ordering and organising art supplies
Maintaining health and safety standards
Assisting with displays and exhibitions
Supporting GCSE and A Level coursework preparation
Keeping studios organised and safe
Assisting teachers with resource planning
The role requires practical skills and strong organisational ability.
The technician works closely with the Head of Art and teaching staff. The department runs extracurricular clubs and student exhibitions throughout the year.
