A culture rooted in safety requires a clean environment. We need your help to make that happen. Are you able to help Heres what youll do;
- mop clean buff & wax floors
- wash corridors stairs stairwells walls and partitions using various hand tools and detergents
- scrub and clean all areas of lavatories rooms & facilities
- move with care and purpose and treat others that you meet while you work just as you want to be treated and present yourself as a representative of SUNY Upstate in the best possible way
Minimum Qualifications:
- be able to stand stoop bend and stretch for long periods of time
- have ability to climb ladders and safely handle all of the tools needed to do your job well
- must understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Across our team we speak over 40 different languages but you must understand all safety instructions presented in English
- There is no educational requirement for these positions and there is no Civil Service exam
