Job Summary

Koniag Advisory Business Solutions LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Janitor I to support KABS and our government customer at Wolf Point MT. This position is covered under the Service Contract Act. We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching paid holidays paid Vacation paid sick leave and Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Performs cleaning of all patient treatment rooms exam rooms laboratory areas and ensures that all are disinfected sanitized or decontaminated and free from pathogenic bacteria and infectious waste. Utilizes antibacterial chemicals extremely strong cleaning solutions or use of special cleaning agents and maintains a daily log or check sheet for exam rooms requiring special cleaning methods or JCAHO infection control strips waxes and polishes floors using heavy (industrial type) powered scrubbers and buffers. Washes walls using powered wall washing machine. Vacuum cleans rugs using heavy (industrial type) vacuum cleaners; adjust cleans and oils these machines and changes brushes roller buffers and other dry mops scrubs waxes and polishes floors using brooms mops dusts Waxes restrooms in clean orderly and in sanitary condition. Sweep scrub and waxes floors. Cleans disinfects and deodorizes lavatories urinals and toilet bowls. Cleans mirrors sinks and water fountains. Dusts ledges and deodorizers toilet tissue hand towels and soap. Notes condition of restroom and reports to supervisor broken windows water leaks clogged drains and other conditions requiring :High school diploma or GED required plus 8-10 years of progressive supervisory experience. Completion of infection prevention training within onboarding Requirement: Must have completed full Tier 2 & Permits State of Montana :Infectious/regulated medical waste segregation storage. Chemical safety (SDS access spill response dilution Skills:Use of cleaning validation tools (fluorescent gel checklists; ATP if utilized by the hospital).Compliance Requirements:Healthcare standards: Joint Commission Environment of Care (EC) & Infection Control (IC) CMS CoPs and hospital infection prevention & environmental: OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Hazard Communication PPE ergonomics; hospital/Tribal policies for regulated medical waste and chemical prevention: Isolation cleaning workflows terminal cleaning equipment disinfection hand hygiene support and construction/ICRA coordination with Conditions:Hospital environment on Tribal lands; frequent work in occupied patient care areas with sensitive work required (days/evenings/nights) rotating weekends/holidays; occasional extended hours for outbreaks weather impacts or surge to chemicals biohazards and noise; required use of walking/standing; frequent interaction with patients families and clinical Skills:Leadership & coaching: Clear expectations fair workload assignment real-time feedback recognition and planning: Prioritize discharge cleans; balance routine vs. isolation vs. specialty cleaning; manage cross-coverage between prevention literacy: Applies isolation tiers and product contact times; escalates promptly to IP when : Calm respectful and concise communication with clinicians patients Tribal leadership and the EVS competence: Demonstrates respect for Tribal customs and community solving: Rapidly addresses staffing gaps equipment failures or supply issues with workable interim service: Maintains a hospitality mindset that supports patient experience (e.g. HCAHPS cleanliness domain).Physical Requirements:Frequent standing/walking; repetitive reaching bending and kneeling; pushing/pulling carts up to 75100 lbs; lifting up to 3550 PPE (gloves gowns eye/face protection respirators as required) and exposure to cleaning agents and to respond quickly across campus including using stairs and navigating confined Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
