Pipelayer Helper - Underground Water & Sewer

Key Information:

Hours: Various shifts project dependent 12-hour days
Must be willing to working evenings and weekends (Various shift rotations)
Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:

Assist Installing water valves hydrants air shoring and box culverts.
Assist Installing concrete pipe pvc pipe MHs and CBs.
Communicating with the Pipelayer.
Cut/bevel pipe to ensure proper pipe placement.
Use surveying and grade to properly place pipe.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of working experience in various sewer and water projects.
Must have a strong understanding of reading grade.
Must understanding surveying.
Must be able to do elevation shots.
Must be able to read and understand drawings.
CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 Ground disturbance 201 Fall Protection required.
A reliable means of transportation is required.
Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Completion of high school is required.
