Position Overview:
Queen of Apostles Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and passionateMiddle School teacher to join our educational community for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities:
- Educational Excellence:
- Design and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans aligned with the schools curriculum standards.
- Foster a love for learning by creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Faith Formation:
- Integrate Catholic teachings values and virtues into daily lessons promoting spiritual growth among students.
- Organize and participate in religious activities prayer services and sacramental preparation.
- Encourage students to develop a personal relationship with God and embrace Christian values.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other teachers administrators and staff to enhance the overall school environment.
- Participate in regular team meetings professional development and school events.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and goals.
- Communication and Parental Involvement:
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents through regular updates conferences and newsletters.
- Encourage parental involvement in their childs education and the school community.
- Address parent concerns and provide support as needed.
- Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
- Implement effective assessment strategies to measure student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents on academic and behavioral performance.
- Classroom Management:
- Establish clear expectations for behavior and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to address student needs and maintain a focused learning atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field; holds/willing to acquire state teaching certification.
- Strong background in Catholic theology and teachings.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for elementary students.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the school community.
