Position Overview:

Queen of Apostles Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and passionateMiddle School teacher to join our educational community for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities:

• Educational Excellence:
• Design and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans aligned with the schools curriculum standards.
• Foster a love for learning by creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Faith Formation:
• Integrate Catholic teachings values and virtues into daily lessons promoting spiritual growth among students.
• Organize and participate in religious activities prayer services and sacramental preparation.
• Encourage students to develop a personal relationship with God and embrace Christian values.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other teachers administrators and staff to enhance the overall school environment.
• Participate in regular team meetings professional development and school events.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and goals.
• Communication and Parental Involvement:
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents through regular updates conferences and newsletters.
• Encourage parental involvement in their childs education and the school community.
• Address parent concerns and provide support as needed.
• Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
• Implement effective assessment strategies to measure student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents on academic and behavioral performance.
• Classroom Management:
• Establish clear expectations for behavior and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to address student needs and maintain a focused learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field; holds/willing to acquire state teaching certification.
• Strong background in Catholic theology and teachings.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for elementary students.
• Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the school community.
