Job Description
The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for planning forecasting and executive-level financial reporting for supported business units and for spending variance analysis financial analysis and interpreting financial information to operational leadership.About the Team
What Youll Do
Analyze enrollment trends pricing strategies and cost drivers to identify risks and opportunities
Conduct sensitivity and break-even analyses to stress-test assumptions and guide decision-making
Partner with Operations and Education teams to translate operational realities into actionable financial insights
Create clear variance commentary and recommendations for leadership to drive informed decisions
Establish repeatable reporting frameworks and improve data consistency across multiple sources
Support strategic planning by providing insights that enable disciplined sustainable growth
What Youll Bring
4 years of current experience in financial analysis modeling or FP&A and Pricing Strategy and Enrollment Forecasting.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial modeling techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in ambiguity
Excellent communication skills to present complex data in a clear actionable way
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decisions without slowing momentum

Work Location
- This is a full-time in-office position at WGUs office in Salt Lake City Utah.
- Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Salt Lake City Utah area within 90 days of offer acceptance.
- Ability to work onsite at the Salt Lake City Utah office four (4) days per week with the option to work remotely on Fridays as scheduled by the department.
