Job Summary:
Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM) Technicians perform neurophysiological monitoring in the operating room to assist with assessing the functional integrity of the peripheral and/or central nervous system during vascular orthopedic and neurosurgical operative procedures. Procedures recorded by the technologist include but are not limited to electroencephalograms evoked potentials compressed spectral array electrocorticography and topographic brain mapping.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in relevant fieldplus experience with Basic Spine (SSEP EMG TRIG TcMEP) and/or additional competency (Vascular Mapping Posterior Fossa Advanced Cases). Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Excellent computer skills.
Candidates with a Bachelors in relevant field may be considered for appointment to a trainee position at a commensurate salary.

CNIM preferred.

Variable shifts rotating Holidays weekends Oncall/Recall
