We are currently seeking a Duty Manager who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and can help lead our team in delivering memorable guest service.
Role Summary
As Duty Manager you will play a key leadership role in overseeing daily operations ensuring smooth service delivery across all hotel functions and supporting staff to provide excellent experiences to guests. Youll act as a trusted point of contact for both team members and guests during your shift.
Key Responsibilities
Support and coordinate daily hotel operations including reception food & beverage housekeeping and guest services
Provide leadership and guidance to staff to maintain high standards of service
Monitor guest satisfaction and handle guest enquiries feedback and complaints professionally
Assist with rostering training and supervision of team members
Maintain a safe compliant work environment including health and safety procedures
Ensure policies and procedures are upheld throughout the venue
Act as the onsite manager in the absence of senior management
Requirements
Previous hospitality management experience preferably in a duty management or supervisory role
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong problemsolving ability and ability to work under pressure
Customerfocused attitude and professional demeanour
Sound organisational and multitasking skills
Relevant hospitality qualifications or work experience

Required Skills:
AQF Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification OR minimum 35 years relevant commercial baking experience At least 2 years post-qualification or equivalent industry experience Proven experience in artisan and commercial bread production Strong understanding of dough fermentation baking processes and quality control Ability to work early mornings weekends and under pressure Reliable punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
