Travel CT Technologist (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Carbondale IL.
Assignment:
- Days/Nights 8 x 5 40 hrs/week ; 36 hours GTD
- Shift: Variable. Monday through Friday 0630-1400(will change once we fill our lead tech position to 3 twelve-hour shifts)
- Start Date: 2/16/2026
- Contract: 13 weeks
- EMR: EPIC
- Call Requirement: Call Rotates between staff. Averages 1 week every 4th week
- Location: Carbondale IL 62901
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain procedures review patient history check for contraindications (e.g. contrast allergies) and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Position patients correctly for specific scans select appropriate imaging parameters (slice thickness contrast timing) and operate CT scanners.
- Start IV lines and safely administer contrast materials to enhance image clarity while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Review images for technical quality and accuracy before sending them to radiologists ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
- Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety protocols maintain proper hygiene and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform daily calibrations warm-up sequences and basic troubleshooting of scanners and injectors.
- Accurately record patient data medical histories and scan details in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or PACS systems.
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Active ARRT(CT) License
- BLS (AHA preferred)
- 1 years CT experience preferred
- Strong communication professionalism and reliability
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT and state license.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy physiology and CT technology.
- Ability to explain procedures to patients and collaborate with medical teams.
- Ability to adapt scanning protocols to patient conditions.
