Job Summary

Introduction

CHEF DE PARTIE R12 500 PM BENEFITS 5 * HOSPITALITY

PATERSON EASTERN CAPE PROVINCE

(LIVE-IN POSITION)

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Matric
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or Cookery other formal accreditation by recognised Culinary School / Institution
  • Must have 5* fine dining experience ESSENTIAL
  • Formal qualification in Food Safety i.e. HACCP or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year working experience in producing up-market cuisine & producing food preparations and mise-en-place ESSENTIAL
  • Culinary experience at a 5* Lodge Hotel Fine dining establishmentESSENTIAL
  • Must hold a current food handler health card or HACCP/Food Safety certificate
  • Must have good communication and reporting skills in English
  • Good knowledge of food costing and wastage control
  • Good knowledge of Food and Beverages practices
  • Must have knowledge ofGAAP POS&MS Excel
  • Must have strong ability to lead a team and work under high levels of pressure
  • Valid drivers licence (advantageous) & own transport / vehicle
  • Willing to accept a live-in position excluding meals

Package & Remuneration

SALARY ON OFFER: R12 500 BASIC SALARY BENEFITS

LIVE-IN POSITION 3 WEEKS ON 1 WEEK OFF

POSITION IS BASED IN PATERSON EASTERN CAPE

MUST HAVE MISE-EN-PLACE EXPERIENCE WITH 5* HOSPITALITY EXPOSURE
