Purpose of Role: The Welder will be responsible for heavy fabrication and repair work specifically on large mining buckets and related industrial equipment. They should have a strong background in welding thick materials structural components and wear parts with a focus on safety precision and durability.

Key Responsibilities:
MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding on large scale mining buckets and heavy equipment components. Conduct structural repairs rebuilds and modifications using appropriate welding techniques
Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and welding symbols
Mechanical Aptitude: Operate heavy-duty fabrication tools including grinders torches and plasma cutters.
Quality Inspection: Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications as determined by blueprints
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Ability to use and run an air arc
Must pass a welding test to be considered for hire
