Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or met the requirements for certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). One (1) year of CT Technologist experience required.
Certifications Licenses or Registration Required: : Must obtain a Mississippi Radiologic Technologist license and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration by hire date. BLS required; can be obtained within first ninety (90) days of hire into the position.
Knowledge of computerized tomography exam procedures. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to explain exam procedures and alleviate patient anxiety.
