As a Kitchen Steward you will play an essential role in supporting our culinary team by maintaining a clean organised and efficient kitchen environment.
Working closely with our chefs and kitchen team your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining cleanliness across all kitchen and food & beverage areas
- Ensuring compliance with health safety and hygiene standards
- Following correct food handling procedures
- Assisting with basic preparation and ensuring mise en place is readily available
- Supporting the wider kitchen team and collaborating with the Chef on duty as required
- A current and valid Australian drivers licence
Your contribution will help ensure smooth kitchen operations and support the delivery of outstanding dining experiences for our guests.
Qualifications :
- Service-focused with strong attention to detail
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Adaptable and responsive to change
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (preferred but not essential)
- Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings weekends and public holidays
