We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Sydney Australia. As a Housekeeping Attendant you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean comfortable and welcoming environment during their stay.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms public areas and other assigned spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and concerns
- Restock guest room supplies including toiletries linens and amenities
- Properly handle and store cleaning equipment and supplies
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain guest privacy and security of personal belongings
- Adhere to all hotel policies procedures and safety guidelines
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed
Qualifications :
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to anticipate and proactively address guest needs
- Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Physical stamina to stand walk and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
- Basic English communication skills both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Familiarity with Australian hospitality standards and regulations
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
