Based at Component Maintenance in Melbourne the Commercial & Materials Coordinator is responsible for providing valued customer service handling and inducting for service varied aircraft components entering the business and proactively overseeing all customer work managing customer expectations and providing timely communications of component status and performance. The role will also continually analyse and plan material requirements be actively involved in supplier management and purchasing to ensure detail part availability and component repair turn-around time targets are achieved.

Youll have

  • Experience within a purchasing or Supply Chain environment
  • Reporting and analysis skills providing insights to aid in decision making and continuous improvement
  • Assist with creating and updating regular business reports
  • Continuous forward planning and forecasting to support projects designed to improve business efficiencies
  • Look for opportunities to reduce costs and work more efficiently.
  • Build positive working relationships with customers and stakeholders across all levels.
  • Accountability for decisions and processes that have significant impact on day to day operations
  • High level customer facing service experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical capacity to deal with a range of components and materials during receipt handling and induction processes
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Advanced computer literacy and skills in PC applications
