Bachelors degree or Pharm D from an accredited School of Pharmacy; experience cannot be substituted for educational requirement.
Completion of a pre-employment drug screen required.
Certifications Licenses or Registration Required: Licensed as a pharmacist in Mississippi or eligible for licensure. Must be licensed prior to hire date.
Possession of a controlled substance license or eligible for licensure. Must be licensed prior to hire date.
Knowledge of drugs and their indications contraindications dosing side effects and proper administration. Knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of constituencies.
