Responsible for providing comprehensive work place medical and/or wellness services which may include patient triage/evaluation/referral into the health care system phlebotomy immunization administration BLS instruction hearing testing and other testing/duties as company-specific/contracted needs arise per OSHA guidelines. May require supervision of HRA team members as well as oversight and implementation of program-specific policy and procedures. Requires ongoing up to date knowledge of OSHA guidelines workmans Compensation laws and FMLA guidelines. Wellness and medical background and skills essential. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission values and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details:
Qualifications
Graduated from a school of nursing (Associates Degree Diploma or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience: Minimum three years clinical experience.
Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. Excellent communication and organization skills.
Other: Skills Knowledge and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills and facilitation skills. Knowledge in medical and allied health services. With a strong interest in promoting health wellness safety & prevention activities & programs in the corporate setting. Must be able to work independently. Must have good computer skills. CPR instructor preferred.
Equipment Used: Computer various general medical equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires individuals to push pull and/or lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip reach bend kneel twist and squat to perform duties
