Surgical Ophthalmology Cataract / Surgical Vision
The Strategic Marketing & Events Supervisor is responsible for leading the marketing and events strategy within the surgical ophthalmology segment with a strong focus on business impact scientific relevance and strategic market positioning.
This role acts as a subject-matter expert in cataract and surgical ophthalmology bringing deep market knowledge actionable insights and disruptive solutions based on a thorough understanding of market dynamics competitive landscape and customer needs.
The position bridges strategy and execution strengthening the companys presence through high-impact scientific events strong engagement with key stakeholders and close collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Develop and lead the strategic marketing and events plan for the surgical ophthalmology portfolio.
- Plan and execute scientific congresses symposia workshops and strategic events.
- Act as a market expert in cataract and surgical ophthalmology.
- Build and maintain relationships with BRASCRS CBO and other ophthalmology associations.
- Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Translate market data into strategic recommendations.
- Develop marketing campaigns and materials with scientific and business focus.
- Manage marketing and events budgets.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Medical Market Access Regulatory and Global teams.
- Promote company Leadership Imperatives and Credo.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Life Sciences or related fields.
- Experience in strategic marketing and/or scientific event management.
- Strong knowledge of surgical ophthalmology and cataract market.
- Experience working with medical associations and KOLs.
- Drivers license - category B required.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
- Analytical and insight-driven profile.
- Expertise in scientific events and medical engagement.
