Overview
- Clinical & Teaching Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum outpatient internal medicine care to adult patients
- Supervise mentor and educate medical students and residents in the ambulatory setting
- Serve as a clinical educator within a new Internal Medicine residency program
- Participate in curriculum development learner evaluation and resident continuity clinic
- Serve as a clinical role model emphasizing evidence-based patient-centered care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nursing care coordination and specialty services
- Contribute to quality improvement scholarly and educational initiatives within Sentara.
- This position offers a rare opportunity to be part of a new Internal Medicine residency program while practicing high-quality outpatient medicine in one of Virginias most desirable communities.
