Job Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the RN Manager following established nursing protocols and behavioral health standards.
- Utilize the nursing process including assessment planning implementation and evaluation to deliver safe compassionate and effective care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized treatment plans and promote patient progress.
- Monitor patient behaviors emotional status and physical conditions responding appropriately to changes or crises.
- Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
Uphold a therapeutic environment that supports recovery dignity and respect for all patients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Effective communication both verbal & written.
- Ability to participate in an interdisciplinary team. Ability to assess plan implement & evaluate patient care utilizing knowledge of
pharmacology psychiatric disorders. - Walking and/or standing for up to eight (8) hours or more.
- Bending & lifting.
- May be exposed to aggressive patients.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime hours or shifts as required
- Complete all annual competency training to include TOVA III with physical restraints.
- BLS with the American Heart Association is required
- Demonstrates knowledge of recovery/trauma-informed care
