Looking to do something meaningful and impactful to do during summer and school breaks

Arc of Onondaga is hiring Youth Camp Mentors to provide 1:1 support to children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in fun inclusive camp settings.

If you enjoy working with kids love summer activities and want meaningful work - this is for you!

What Youll Love:

Working in a 1:1 setting with a child

Enjoying summer and recreational activities

Building genuine lasting connections

Help children participate grow and succeed

A perfect opportunity for college students & school staff

What Youll Do:

Provide 1:1 support at local camps and recreational programs

Encourage independence and inclusion in group activities

Offer hands-on guidance mentoring and positive support

Serve as a positive role model and advocate

Were Looking For Someone Who:

Has a high school diploma or equivalent

Is passionate about working with children

Is patient positive and dependable

Thrives independently while bringing energy and collaboration to a supportive team
