$1500 New Hire Sign-On Bonus MORTGAGE LOAN ASSISTANT

This role can be based anywhere in the state with a preference for candidates who live within 30 miles of a First Service Bank branch. This allows you to stay connected to our community-driven culture while enjoying statewide flexibility.
Were looking for a Mortgage Loan Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment loves staying organized and enjoys helping customers through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. If youre detail-oriented customer-focused and ready to support a high-performing mortgage team this role is for you.
What You Will Do:
- Support Loan Officers with new loan applications and file setup
- Collect and review borrower documentation (income assets credit etc.)
- Communicate with borrowers to request missing information
- Enter and update data in the Loan Origination System (LOS)
- Monitor loan files to ensure completeness before processing
- Coordinate with processors underwriters title companies and appraisers
- Track deadlines and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide exceptional service from application through closing
What Were Looking For:
- 1 year of experience in mortgage banking or financial services preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Preferred but Not Required:
- Knowledge of Conventional FHA VA and RD loans
