Job Descriptions:
The Chaplain I reports to the Manager Pastoral Care Services. The Chaplain I under the guidance of the Manager Pastoral Care Services provides pastoral care services to patients families and staff with respect to individual religious and spiritual practices and values.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires the equivalent of a Masters of Divinity from an accredited theological seminary and ordination as a priest minister or rabbi with current ecclesiastical endorsement or endorsement eligibility;
and
one (1) unit of clinical pastoral education approved by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education the American Association of Pastoral Counselors the National Association of Catholic Chaplains or the National Jewish Welfare board or equivalent clinical experience; one year of pastoral experience. Must be able to communicate well verbally.
Must possess excellent relational collegial and interdisciplinary skills.
