About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Outpatient Receptionist to support daily clinic operations patient flow and administrative tasks. This role ensures efficient scheduling accurate documentation and excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment. The position also provides direct scheduling and administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer during outpatient clinic hours.
Ideal Candidate Characteristics
- Warm professional and calm demeanor when working with patients families and providers
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced outpatient clinic
- Proficient with electronic health records scheduling systems and standard office software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including phone and in-person interactions
- Reliable accountable and able to work independently after training
- Collaborative team player who partners well with providers and operations leaders
- Experienced with insurance processes prior authorizations and accurate documentation
- Adaptable and service-oriented with a patient-centered mindset
- Experience working with children and families in a healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred
