The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining electrical schematics and documentation using EPLAN software ensuring high-quality design standards and compliance with industry regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EPLAN Designer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining electrical schematics and documentation using EPLAN software ensuring high-quality design standards and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical schematics panel layouts and wiring diagrams using EPLAN Electric P8
Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs)
Design control panels and MCC systems
Ensure drawings comply with relevant electrical standards (IEC SANS NEC etc.)
Collaborate with engineers project managers and workshop teams
Update and revise drawings based on project requirements
Maintain accurate project documentation

Minimum Requirements

Experience using EPLAN Electric
Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and panel design
Experience with PLC systems and instrumentation drawings
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office
