Schedule: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $54 $59 per hour
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week contract assignment in Syracuse NY. The SLP will evaluate treat and support patients with speech language cognitive communication and swallowing disorders while working with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Perform speech language cognitive and swallowing evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide evidence-based therapy services
Document evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries
Collaborate with physicians and therapy teams
Educate patients and families
Participate in care planning meetings
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
Support AAC devices as needed
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active New York State SLP License
CCC-SLP (ASHA) or CFY eligible
BLS Certification
Preferred
1 year of clinical or hospital experience
Experience in acute care inpatient rehab or SNF setting
