We are currently seeking aSenior Payroll Administratorto join our Finance team at our headquarters inCentennial CO. This role will initially be five days in-office for training and then transition to a hybrid schedule (fourdays in-office)whereyoullassistwith payroll processing for approximately 2500 employees.
Responsibilities
As aSenior Payroll Administratorat FAST you will play a critical role in managing payroll processes and ensuring accuracy and compliance across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
Payroll Administration
- Oversee the preparation documentation distribution and reconciliation of domestic and international payrolls for employees across multiplejurisdictions.
- Ensuretimelyandaccurateprocessing of payroll including wage and hour compliance tax withholdings and benefit deductions.
- Administer andoptimizepayroll systems managing integrations with existing and new platforms to streamline workflows.
Auditing and Compliance
- Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy compliance with federal state and international regulations and adherence to company policies.
- Stay up to date on payroll legislation and labor laws implementing changes tomaintaincompliance and industry best practices.
Reporting and Analysis
- Develop and deliver custom payroll reports tailored to the needs of internal and external stakeholders including leadership and auditors.
- Collaborate with the Finance and HR teams to reconcile payroll data with accounting and financial records.
Employee Support and Communication
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries providingtimelyandaccurateinformation to employees and management.
- Educate employees on payroll policies tax forms and self-service tools to improve their understanding and engagement.
Documentation and Process Improvement
- Document payroll procedures in a clear and detailed manner ensuring consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- Continuouslyidentifyand implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Provide training to team on policies regulations and processes.
Invoice Reconciliation
- Reconcile invoices related to payroll ensuring alignment with financial records andtimelypayments.
Collaboration and Special Projects
- Partner with HR IT and Finance teams to support cross-functional projects and system implementations.
- Contribute to organizational initiatives byprovidingpayroll-related insights andparticipatingin special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration Human Resources ora related field.
- 4-9 years of multi-state payroll processing experience with a proventrack recordof accuracy and compliance.
- Experience withADPWorkforceNow Lyric or Celergois preferred.
- International payroll experience is a plus including understanding tax treaties and foreign payroll systems.
- FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification)orCPP (Certified Payroll Professional)certification is preferred.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel with advanced skills such as PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and with employees.
- Ability tomaintainstrict confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll data with integrity.
- A proactive team-oriented attitude with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
