Hourly Pay Range: $34.00 $48.00 (18 years of experience considered for top rate)
Shift Differential: $4.00/hr (Nights & Weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: $20000

Facility Overview
A large full-service acute care hospital in the Kansas City metro area is seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses to join its surgical services team. The facility offers a comprehensive range of specialty services and is part of a multi-hospital healthcare system committed to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
Position Summary
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides direct perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires strong scrub and/or circulating experience and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the surgical and anesthesia teams.

Key Responsibilities
Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures
Educate patients and families on perioperative expectations
Initiate IV therapy administer medications and verify surgical sites
Participate in surgical time-outs briefings and debriefings
Recognize and respond to intraoperative emergencies
Deliver evidence-based patient-centered perioperative care
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia providers surgical technologists and interdisciplinary teams
Monitor patient condition and document all care provided
Apply strong clinical judgment technical skills and patient safety practices
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (scrub and/or circulating)
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact)
RN Diploma required
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
