JOB SUMMARY
Combine your love of history life on the farm and the outdoors! This position will be responsible for providing agricultural and historical programming to school groups tours events site programming and general visitors at Wagner Farm. This position will work with livestock and may also assist with administrative duties farm fieldwork and chores.
QUALIFICATIONS
The best applicants will have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with school age children in or out of the classroom
- Excellent customer service skills and enthusiasm
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn to work with livestock learn agricultural and historical material and wear historically accurate clothing
- Readiness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of agricultural and/or museum practices desired
- Ability to lift 10 pounds is preferred
SCHEDULING & PAY
This is a year-round position working a varied part-time schedule. Schedule will include weekdays. Evenings and weekends as required. The number of hours per week will vary based on season and business need. The target hiring range is $16.00/hour depending on qualifications.
