Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission values and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday 12p - 830p

Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or MRI Technologist program with completion of required clinical hours.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experienceorrecent graduate of a bachelors degree program.
Licensure/Certifications:
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
- Must hold at least one advanced registry in MRI and be actively working in the modality.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in IV insertion.
- Strong technical skills in medical imaging including cross-sectional anatomy and 3D imaging.
- Ability to operate MRI scanners power injectors imaging workstations and related computer systems.
