Our client is seeking the services of a professional Procurement Supervisor to join their Group Procurement division. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the Contract and SLA Administration department including vendor administration while ensuring procurement governance compliance and service delivery excellence. In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
Grade 12
Supply Chain or Procurement qualification will be advantageous
Experience in general administration and supplier management is essential
Relevant knowledge of current legislation within the industry
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong people management and supervisory skills
Strong analytical communication and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage conflict effectively
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
Supervising the Contract and SLA Administration department and vendor administration
Supervising staff and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
Preparing tenders and contracts through the full end-to-end process
Driving cost savings through the tender process
Maintaining contracts and SLAs including timeous renewals
Administering and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
Administering new bids and tenders from initiation to completion
Supervising contracts SLAs and Capex procurement processes
Ensuring procurement aligns with approved Capex budgets
Ensuring vendor and supplier compliance with signed terms and conditions
Supporting business units by improving service levels across Sales Operations and Logistics
Ensuring accurate procurement information is maintained on GP systems and intranet platforms
