The Cardiovascular Tech is responsible for performing of EKGs application and processing of cardiac monitors and general office duties.. Their primary duties include setting up and maintaining EKG equipment performing cardiovascular tests identifying heart rhythms and effectively communicating with physicians and patients.

Position Details:

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Licensure:

Experience:

Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)

Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.

Preferred Education:

Preferred Licensure:

Preferred Experience: One Year of Experience or previous on-the-job training or training through an Allied Health program.

Preferred Certifications: CCT or CRAT through CCI or CET through American Allied Health.

Preferred Other: Additional languages preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires individuals to push pull and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip reach bend kneel twist and squat to perform duties.
