The primary responsibility of the salesperson within healthcare retail is to demonstrate a positive outgoing and caring attitude towards all customers and patients. Sales in healthcare retail requires the ability to learn new products in health wellness and gift categories and to explain the function and the benefit of these items to patients and customers. Demonstrates the ability to work all areas in the Gift Shop to ensure smooth operations. Reports to Gift Shop Manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission values and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details:
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a retail environment preferred.
Preferred Education: High School Diploma.
Other: Knowledge of POS system preferred. Requires good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team. Must have good organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize duties.
