    Project Explore Activities Assistant Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated experience working with people who have disabilities
    • Positive enthusiastic attitude with strong teamwork skills
    • Ability to provide direction guidance and support to staff and volunteers
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Detail-oriented and organized
    • Flexible dependable and comfortable supporting large group activities


    Project Explore Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

    • Maintain effective ongoing communication with the Project Explore Coordinator to share updates needs and support considerations for classes and activities.
    • Prepare organize and obtain supplies for classes and activities as needed.
    • Lead or co-facilitate large group activities and events as scheduled (e.g. dances banquets bingo).
    • Provide on-site direction guidance and support to volunteers and event support.
    • Engage positively with participants caregivers and volunteers.
    • Complete event wrap-up including summary notes feedback and supply organization.
    • Help maintain Project Explore storage areas to ensure supplies are organized and inventory is accurate.
    • Represent Project Explore with professionalism enthusiasm and a positive presence in the community.

      Compensation:
    • Project Explore Activities Assistant: $16.00 - $18.00 / on qualifications
    • Project Explore Activities Support: $11.41 - $17.00 / hr. Depending on qualifications
