APRN Palliative Care PRN in Pinellas County

Suncoast Empath Palliative Care is seeking a Palliative Care APRN PRN to join our team in Pinellas County with some work in South Tampa.

What youll Do:

• We require an APRN experienced in palliative consults and advanced care planning
• You will work in Pinellas County and South Tampa
• This role will provide in home care
• This role is PRN working 2-3 days per week
• Perform comprehensive health assessments by obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations.
• Diagnoses treats and monitors acute and chronic diseases in collaboration with a physician.

What Youll Need:

• Education: Masters degree in nursing or a related field.
• Licensure: Current Florida license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner certified in a practice are (if applicable to departmental requirements). Current DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) license.
• Certifications: Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• NPI provider and ability to bill CMS services or ability to obtain same (if applicable to departmental requirements).
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience is required.
• Minimum of two (2) year experience as an APRN with experience in adult gerontology or oncology practice preferred.

**Location for this position is Pinellas County with some travel to South Tampa**
