Objective: The Sales Representative (On-Premise) is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with on-premise accounts - such as bars restaurants nightclubs and venues - within an assigned territory. This position focuses on driving sales increasing distribution ensuring proper merchandising and product rotation and delivering excellent customer service. The role requires a competitive organized and professional approach to managing territory goals maintaining brand integrity and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Account Management & Customer Relations
- Develop and maintain exceptional rapport with assigned accounts and new customers
- Maintain a regular schedule of weekly visits with all accounts in assigned territory
- Provide responsive customer service and resolve inquiries regarding orders delivery product information and credit
- Build long-term partnerships with bar managers beverage directors general managers and owners
Sales Growth & Business Development
- Successfully sell distribute and place portfolio products in on-premise accounts
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and secure new placements
- Execute monthly sales goals and business objectives established by management
- Maintain a highly competitive and goal-driven sales approach
Execution & Merchandising
- Ensure proper product rotation and adherence to code-date policy
- Merchandise accounts with permanent and temporary point-of-sale materials
- Organize and execute the placement of window neons banners and promotional displays
- Conduct product promotions tastings and events as needed to drive brand visibility and sales
- Support pricing programs incentives and retail promotions to maximize sell-through
Collections & Compliance
- Manage effective accounts receivable collections within company credit policy
- Adhere to all federal state and local laws and regulations regarding the sale and marketing of alcoholic beverages
Collaboration & Market Insights
- Work collaboratively with Sales Marketing and Operations to ensure flawless account service
- Provide market intelligence competitive updates and territory insights to management
- Participate in company meetings trainings and promotional events as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
- 2 years of beverage alcohol distribution or hospitality sales experience preferred
- Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of on-premise account management and local market trends
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated organized and results-oriented
- Must have valid drivers license with reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and special events
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus

- Regularly travels within the assigned territory to visit accounts attend events and transport product samples or marketing materials. This may involve operating a personal vehicle or using other modes of transportation depending on location
Compensation Range:
The expected base pay range for this position is: $48000 - $54000 per year.
Final compensation is based on experience credentials and geographic location.
Pay ranges are reviewed annually based on market data and internal equity.
Additional Compensation & Benefits:
- Bonus Eligibility: Potential for additional monthly compensation based on experience and company guidelines
- Annual Merit Increases: Eligible for consideration based on performance and company guidelines
