Job Summary
Goodhue Boat Company is super busy and we are looking for smart motivated and dedicated people to join the team! Our Ossipee Lake marina location has an opening for a Full-time and Seasonal Part-Time Yard Hand. As a yard hand you will be part of a team the plays a critical role in the smooth running of the marina.
Job Summary:
The Yard Hand will report to the Marina Manager and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the this position you will be part of a team that plays a critical role in the seamless service we provide to the customers of our marina.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Move boatsaround facilityusing tractors and marinaequipment.
- Launchand stageboatsfor Technicians and Customers
- Transport trailered boats using pick-up trucks to other locations.
- Inspect heavy equipment fordamages.
- Remain up to date on OSHA and company guidelines and ensure they are being followedatthe marina.
- Keep up to date on all heavy marina equipment certifications.
- Report all equipment damages accidents and problems to theServiceManager.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Boating License.
- Experience using large tractors.
- Valid Drivers licenserequired. Clean drivingrecordrequired.
- Experience usingSpeedyDock preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Thrives in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
Education:
- Minimum of High School degree or equivalent.
Salary:
- $18-$22 per hour based on experience.
