Job Summary

The Mission We are seeking a highly resilient medical professional for a prestigious 1:1 care position aboard a private superyacht. You will be responsible for the daily health and acute oversight of an 80-year-old VIP principal. This role combines clinical rigor with a world-class travel itinerary navigating the Mediterraneans most scenic routes including the Amalfi Coast the Greek Cyclades (Mykonos/Santorini) and the Turquoise Coast.

The Team You will be an integral part of a sophisticated Western-trained medical wing. The hierarchy is designed for clinical excellence and includes:

  • A Lead British Doctor (General Practitioner) overseeing the medical strategy.

  • Resident Physiotherapists assisting with the principals mobility.

  • A supportive team of nursing colleagues.

The Safety We operate a strict double-nurse shift system to ensure patient safety and staff well-being. This rotation guarantees you are never working alone providing ample support during duty hours and ensuring significant downtime to rest or explore the ports of call.

The Process We respect your current commitments. The initial interview phase is conducted entirely via a secure online platform allowing you to interview from Cork without the need for immediate travel.



Requirements

Requirements

  • Education: A Western Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.

  • Experience: 4 years of post-graduate experience in ICU ER or A&E is required to meet the clinical demands of the vessel.

  • Language: Native or C1 English level.

  • Attributes: Exceptional bedside manner discretion and the ability to thrive in a structured maritime environment.
