Now were looking for a Head of Operations Controlling to join our passionate team and help us shape the future of food and beverages. You will be based in Roeselare Belgium and report to the Director Business Control Supply Chain & Sourcing and Investments and be part of a great international team of Supply Chain Controllers based in our locations across Europe.
The main scope of the job relates to the area of Tex Mex with factories located in Roeselare Belgium and interaction with factories in UK and Sweden being part of the cluster. You will lead a team of three operation controllers.
As Head of operations controlling Tex Mex you will have a key role within the Tex Mex area. Next to your finance role and business partnering with the operational team you will also participate in exciting projects such as new product development business cases report development and roll out of new ERP.
In this role you will:
Deliver timely and accurate operational financial reporting including monthly closing forecasting and budgeting
Improve operational efficiency through structured analysis (variance analysis waste monitoring capacity utilization OEE kg/mhr kg/lhr)
Analyze and challenge actual vs. standard costs and monitor YoY performance with strong understanding of operational KPIs
Lead tariff calculations standard cost updates and cost roll-ups for finished goods; act as key ERP user
Partner with Supply Chain Marketing and Business Areas on business cases budgeting new product development and capex support
You combine financial expertise with strong operational understanding and business acumen. You communicate clearly challenge constructively and help drive performance to your team and across the organization.
To succeed in this role you likely have:
5-10 years of experience in Operations Controlling with higher degree in Finance or a related field
Fluent in English and Dutch
Strong IT skills and experience with Infor M3 is preferred and will be considered a significant advantage MS Office Excel and Power BI
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights
Strong communicator and people leader with a results-driven mindset and the ability to inspire guide and coach others to achieve high performance
