About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Account Manager to support and grow our business across Canada with a primary focus on distributor partners and vertical markets. This role is responsible for maintaining and expanding existing distributor relationships while also driving new business opportunities across key vertical segments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts partner closely with internal teams and ensure customers receive timely high-quality solutions aligned with their needs. This role requires strong sales execution partner management and the ability to identify growth opportunities across a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Canadian distributor and vertical market accounts.
- Build and strengthen distributor relationships to drive long-term partnership growth and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Canada including new distributor relationships and vertical market customers.
- Expand revenue within existing accounts through proactive account planning cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Marketing Operations Product Customer Support) to ensure partner and customer success.
- Develop and maintain a clear actionable business plan outlining activities territory strategy and revenue goals.
- Prepare and present sales proposals including pricing delivery service and leasing options where applicable.
- Manage and resolve customer and distributor issues efficiently ensuring timely communication and follow-through.
- Maintain strong product and solution knowledge and clearly articulate key features and benefits.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at relevant trade shows distributor events and vertical market meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree emphasis in Business Administration Sales Marketing or a related field
- 4 years of experience as an Account Manager Sales Account Manager or relevant role
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time whole maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of selling in a direct commercial sales environment and / or sales management experience
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative solutions-focused approach
- Extensive experience in cold calling prospecting and qualifying leads
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience using or other CRM tool
Pay Range: $55000 - $70000 CAD
Total compensation for this position will include commission.
The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance business objectives and if the location for the job changes.
