What Youll Do
As an Estimator youll play a key role in the preconstruction process by developing accurate competitive cost estimates for civil construction projects. Youll collaborate with clients project teams suppliers and subcontractors to build proposals that are thorough strategic and aligned with project goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing construction drawings specifications and scopes of work
Performing detailed quantity takeoffs
Soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier pricing
Preparing complete competitive bid proposals
Managing assigned bids from start to finish
Identifying risks opportunities and cost-saving strategies
Maintaining organized documentation and current unit pricing
This role requires someone who can juggle multiple priorities think critically and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
What You Bring
Strong knowledge of estimating techniques cost control and construction pricing
Experience in civil disciplines such as sitework utilities grading demolition trucking or environmental work
Excellent analytical math and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and contracts
Strong communication and time-management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook Project)
Experience with B2W Estimate and AGTEK preferred
5 years of estimating experience preferred
Degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field (or CCP/CEP certification) preferred
Compensation
$87700 $193500 annually
Final compensation is based on experience qualifications and internal equity.
