Job Summary

Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create Test Cases/Test Data Using Software Programs Coordinating Testing by All Stakeholders
  • Work Closely with Business Analysis and Engineering Staff to Ensure Test Cases are Valid
  • Document Track and Communicate Test Plans Test Results Analysis and Unresolved Problems
  • Follow defect tracking processes; including software defect documentation defect tracking tool (Azure DevOps) utilization ensuring open defects are monitored and escalated as needed based on aging and priority
  • Lead Testing Efforts for Functional Areas
  • Develop maintain and execute automation scripts to ensure sufficient test coverage of Mortgage Connect Applications and APIs
  • Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on their compliance with automation best practices
  • Design test plans to determine product quality or release readiness
  • Partner with Software Engineers System Integrators Product Owners to deliver high performing quality customer experiences
  • Interact with the product delivery team; participate in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements product designs and schedules
  • Identify interdependencies ambiguities or omissions and make suggestions to improve requirements and ensure usability/testability
  • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy compliance or completeness with focus to mitigate risks
  • Communicate about roadblocks or defects in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology Information Systems Business or Writing or Equivalent Work Experience
  • 7 Years of experience in Quality Engineering
  • 1 Years of Related Work Experience Ideally in the Title or Real Estate Industry

5 years of experience implementing test automation solutions
