Job Summary
Overview
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create Test Cases/Test Data Using Software Programs Coordinating Testing by All Stakeholders
- Work Closely with Business Analysis and Engineering Staff to Ensure Test Cases are Valid
- Document Track and Communicate Test Plans Test Results Analysis and Unresolved Problems
- Follow defect tracking processes; including software defect documentation defect tracking tool (Azure DevOps) utilization ensuring open defects are monitored and escalated as needed based on aging and priority
- Lead Testing Efforts for Functional Areas
- Develop maintain and execute automation scripts to ensure sufficient test coverage of Mortgage Connect Applications and APIs
- Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on their compliance with automation best practices
- Design test plans to determine product quality or release readiness
- Partner with Software Engineers System Integrators Product Owners to deliver high performing quality customer experiences
- Interact with the product delivery team; participate in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements product designs and schedules
- Identify interdependencies ambiguities or omissions and make suggestions to improve requirements and ensure usability/testability
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy compliance or completeness with focus to mitigate risks
- Communicate about roadblocks or defects in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology Information Systems Business or Writing or Equivalent Work Experience
- 7 Years of experience in Quality Engineering
- 1 Years of Related Work Experience Ideally in the Title or Real Estate Industry
5 years of experience implementing test automation solutions
