Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Counsel executive leadership and HR on high-risk employment issues (FMLA ADA Title VII wage/hour discrimination harassment workforce restructuring).
- Policy Leadership: Develop and oversee enterprise-wide employment policies and compliance frameworks for multi-state and international operations.
- Litigation Oversight: Manage complex employment litigation and administrative proceedings (EEOC state agencies) including strategy and outside counsel supervision.
- Investigations: Lead internal investigations of sensitive complaints; recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Anticipate and interpret changes in employment laws; update policies and advise leadership.
- Training & Compliance: Design and deliver advanced compliance programs for HR and management teams.
- Executive Communication: Prepare high-level reports and risk assessments for senior leadership and the Board.
What You Bring
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required; licensed in any U.S. state (Indiana licensure required or obtainable within 18 months).
- 10 years of legal experience focused on employment law including advising senior leadership and managing complex litigation.
- Deep knowledge of federal and state employment laws; multi-state experience preferred.
- Strategic thinking leadership exceptional judgment and strong communication skills.
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $00 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors including but not limited to location of the role individual competencies education/professional certifications and qualifications/experience.
