Job Opportunity: Locum General Surgeon in Tiffin OH

Join a dedicated team at a hospital-based facility in Tiffin Ohio seeking a General Surgeon for locum coverage. The practice setting provides a supportive environment with a well-trained operating room staff focusing on adult and geriatric patients. Job Responsibilities

Provide general surgical services including laparoscopic surgery such as cholecystectomy.
Perform GI endoscopies including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
Manage general surgery call coverage and respond to emergency situations as necessary.
Conduct an average of 2 surgical cases per day in a facility equipped with 5 operating rooms.
Utilize the Epic documentation system for patient records and surgical notes.
Collaborate with a team of 2 general surgeons and other hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Board Certified in General Surgery (Required)
Current Ohio medical license (Required)
ACLS Certification (Required)
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (Required)
Ability to specify availability dates at the time of name clearance (Required)
