Reporting to ourHead of Compliance & Building SafetyourCompliance Lead Servicemanages and supports team members to ensure consistent effective service delivery. It leads gas and electrical compliance across all propertiesprovidingspecialist advice overseeing contractors andmaintainingaccuratecompliance data. It also advises on regulatory changes and helps embed a strong safety-firstculture..
In addition we are looking for candidates that have apassion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.
Whatdo ourCompliance Lead - Servicedo;
Act as the organisations competent person for gas and electrical safety ensuring full compliance with statutory and industry regulations across all properties.
Develop implement andmonitorstrategies policies and procedures for gas servicing safety checks repairs CO alarms void processes electrical inspection/testing (EICR) remedials and associated compliance workflows.
Maintain uptodate technical and legalexpertisein gas and electrical safety embedding updates into specifications contracts and operational procedures.
Commission andmonitorstatutory safety checks manage remedial programmes oversee contractor performance andprovidespecialist technical advice to support design investment and refurbishment projects.
Ensureaccurateand reliable compliance data and reporting lead internal audit and action plans oversee administrative workflows and support effective communication with residents and stakeholders on all safety matters.
Whatwe are lookingfor;
Level 4 VRQ Certificate in Gas SafetyManagement andin Electrical Safety Management
Experience of compliance management systems in a social housing contextin relation to gas and electric
Able to develop and reviewrelevant compliancepolicyand proceduresin relation to gas and electric
Demonstrable experience in effective management and delivery ofrelevant compliance safetydata andprocess management and systemsin relation to gas and electric
Experienced in the compilation management and control of attribute compliance andactivity registers associated withgas and electric
