Position Overview
A growing company is seeking anAccounting & Finance Support Specialistto join their team. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial operations ensuring accuracy and efficiency across accounts payable accounts receivable and related administrative functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and able to maintain high standards in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices payments and collections
Research and resolve discrepancies related to financial transactions
Prepare and send customer statements follow up on outstanding invoices and coordinate with internal teams as needed
Assist with month-end quarter-end and year-end reconciliations
Maintain vendor and customer records ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Support onboarding of new customers and vendors with accurate documentation
Assist accounting team with audits financial reviews and compliance activities
Provide general administrative support to internal departments as needed
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel; experience with accounting software preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fast-paced environment
