Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time (0.9 FTE) Registered Nurse for our 12 bed Pediatric Unit and 4 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This is your opportunity to provide patient and family centered care in a healing environment while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region of La Crosse Wisconsin.
What you will do:
After successful orientation this position will be a weekend-only position (WEO): work six weekend shifts between 0600 Friday and 0900 on Monday per pay period
Full-time: 72 hours per 2 weeks (0.9 FTE)
12-hour shifts Day/Night rotation OR Straight Night - your choice!
Every 3rd holiday
Care for pediatric patients with acute or chronic medical conditions & care for pediatric patients requiring ICU level of care provide including traumas diabetic emergencies trachs and more
Work with a multidisciplinary team consisting of highly skilled RNs Hospitalists Intensivists Pharmacists Respiratory Therapists Health Unit Coordinators and other support staff.

Weekend package pay incentive (Employees will receive a Weekend Only premium equal to .3333 times base pay for the actual hours worked during these Friday Saturday and Sunday shifts; this is equivalent to 96 hours of pay for 72 hours worked.)

What you will need:
Associate degree or Bachelors degree Nursing
RN license to work in Wisconsin upon hire
BLS for health care providers
1 year RN experience
1 year RN PICU experience preferred

Sign on bonus paid after 6 months of employment at Gundersen Health System.
